Weight & Mass

Weight is a measurement of the gravitational force acting on an object.
Mass is the measure of the amount of matter in an object.
(e.g.weight x gravitational field strength =mass)
(50kg x 10 =500N)
Weight is usually measured with spring balances while mass is usually measured using a lever-like system using counterweights.
